At about 1 am last night I started a journey, no an awakening… I watched Thelma and Louise for the first time.
I am not sure what rock I have been hiding under to have missed out on this treasure for so long. The 90’s southwestern fashion, the overall kick ass feminism of the movie, the pretty damn good soundtrack, and the ending… Damn good movie.
It was just a happy coincidence that it was also International Women’s Day. So a big shout out to all those women who have and are still pushing against the chains that would hold you back and educating dumb ass men (like me sometimes) along the way.
